Heat Based Hair Removal

About the Technology

How to get rid of Unwanted Hair once and for all…

Heat based hair removal is an easy and convenient way to achieve, long lasting results.  Suitable for all hair types and skin colours it offers an alternative to light based hair removal (IPL) and laser as it can be used by a wider range of skin and hair types. This technique means that you can have smooth skin without the risk of in-grown hair, shaving rash or unsightly regrowth.

In the heat of the moment...

Heat based hair removal uses scientific principles of thermal transference to conduct a gentle pulse of heat to the hair. This means that the heat targets the hair shaft in a non-invasive way, and begins the disruption in growth communication to the hair follicle.  At the same time, the upper part of the hair shaft crystallises and the hair is removed close to the skin.  With regular treatments this will eventually lead to the destruction of the follicle and therefore - no more hair growth! You will also need to use the buffer included to remove stubble for a smoother result

Why you will need more than one treatment…

It would be nice to think that you’ll only need one hair removal treatment and wham thehair would be gone.  However, hair grows in natural cycles - therefore at any given time you will have some hair in the growth period while others will be in the rest period.

Consequently the process of any viable long-term hair removal is not instant.  After your first treatment hair will reappear – this is not the regrowth of the hair that has already been removed - but new hair coming out of its rest period.  This is why it’s important to treat any hair within 2 weeks while it is still growing – thus treating the hair in its growth cycle.  Gradually, as the hair follicles are destroyed less and less hair appears, you’ll be rewarded with silky, smooth and hairless skin for the long term.
